Truth begins where certainty ends.
ERROR 404 sets the first impulse within IRONY & EDGE. A green fruit on a yellow background carries the claim #RED. Color, language and expectation create a contradiction that immediately challenges the gaze. What is visible and what is asserted exist simultaneously. As the light fades, the information within the work changes. The irony shifts from language to geometry. Luminous structures emerge and create a second layer of perception. Certainty becomes irritation. Irritation sets thought in motion.
ERROR 404 begins with an error and opens the question: Which information do we believe?

DESCRIPTION:
Error 404: Truth Not Found is a digital paradox in analog form — precise, humorous, and deliberately contradictory.
A radiant yellow background marks the boundary between surface and meaning. Suspended within the upper section floats a halved kiwi — intensely green, crossed by black seeds, its white centre almost overexposed. The fine brown fibres originate from an actual coconut mat — as if nature itself had inscribed its presence into the collage.
The white fruit core and the spaces between the seeds are composed with photoluminescent pigments. In darkness, they transform into rays of light — a small sun disguised as fruit. Interference pigments refract light differently with every movement, giving the surface an unstable presence.
In the lower section, monumental 3D letters form the hashtag #RED — in exactly the same yellow as the background. Its visibility emerges primarily through depth: approximately five centimetres of photoluminescent structure.
At night, the hashtag appears black — while its shadows glow.
Along the right edge runs the phrase ERROR 404 — almost invisible by day, luminous at night.
The reversal is intentional: a green fruit on a yellow surface carries the hashtag #RED — and means it seriously.
What initially appears absurd in light gradually reveals its own logic in darkness. Truth no longer exists as a fixed condition, but as a shifting function — dependent on perspective, time, and perception.
Error 404: Truth Not Found examines the fragility of objectivity — while quietly smiling at those who continue searching for absolute certainty.

CONCEPT & PERCEPTION
ERROR 404 explores the tension between visible information and asserted truth. A green kiwi meets #RED. The eye delivers one piece of information, language another. The contradiction becomes a system. Color, signs and expectation compete to determine which reality the viewer accepts.
The title transfers the digital error code into perception. “Truth Not Found” describes the moment when certainty fails and observation begins. As the light fades, the order of information changes. Photoluminescent structures emerge, visual hierarchies shift and the apparent error develops its own logic. ERROR 404 turns contradiction into an instrument of perception. The work examines less the truth of a single piece of information than the mechanism through which we accept it as true. Error becomes insight. Irritation becomes the punchline.

K-NY defines authenticity through intention, authorship and structure. Every work carries the trace of its origin and occupies a precise position within a defined artistic system. Authority is not imposed. It is composed through consistency, responsibility and artistic control. Each work remains connected to its origin, its logic and its place within the architecture.
K-NY POSITION: CERTIFICATES & CONTROL
K-NY operates through structure. Each work exists within a defined system of authenticity, responsibility and curatorial control. Its Certificate of Authenticity is individually numbered, linked to the official K-NY code and registered within the internal archive, ensuring that the origin of every work remains traceable independent of ownership or location. Only registered works are recognized as authentic originals. K-NY retains the rights for archiving, reproduction and exhibition of all works, while sales, loans and resales are documented rather than controlled. K-NY does not produce. It releases. Every work remains part of that architecture.
AUTHENTICITY & ARCHIVING
Each work within a Cluster is a unique piece within a closed system of five works. Every artwork is personally signed, numbered and assigned an official K-NY code by Kiéra Nagy (K-NY). Identification appears handwritten on the reverse of the canvas and is complemented by a signed curatorial label, also placed on the reverse. All works are registered within the K-NY Archive and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. No reproductions or editions exist.
NIGHT COLORS. ILLUMINATION IN THE DARK.
K-NY does not disappear at night. It transforms. Photoluminescent elements charged through daylight, artificial light or blacklight activate another state of the work as darkness emerges. What appeared controlled and silent by day can become luminous, unstable or psychologically charged at night. The work no longer exists as a fixed image, but operates through transformation, memory and perception. Light is not used as an effect. It functions as structure, activation and language. The night does not repeat the artwork. It reveals another state of it.
